Reminder: If you have a swimmer participating in the GPS Invitational, you should be volunteering to work during their session and bringing in one donation item.

• Morning Session, Ages 11/Above: 7:00 am - 11:30 am
• Afternoon Session, Ages 10/Under: 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm
• I will send a confirmation email with specific arrival times tonight.

We still need 30 positions filled and a whole slew of items donated. 

This is a BIG MEET, and our 50th YEAR holding it. Teams come to this meet because of how well we run it, but that means we all need to pitch in; it is a team effort. It is also how we generate revenue from other teams too; however, that only happens if we can fill positions and have things to sell them.

Arrive: 5:00 pm tonight @ Walter's Park

NO MATTER what the weather, we all (every swimmer who clicked "Attend") show up and then coaches make a decision to either hold, shorten, or cancel the meet while we are STANDING on DECK and waited for at least an hour for the weather to clear. Easton follows the same policy. WE ALWAYS try to GET the MEET IN, because it is a huge pain to reschedule both teams, the facility, and then redo the entire attendance roster in a short turn-around time.

Besides, thunderstorms are due to dissipate by 5:00 pm today.

So..., please volunteer for the GPS Invitational and I'll see you on deck in a couple of hours. :)
