Good morning everyone,

Thank you for all your hard work in putting together the GPS Invitational! It's one hundred little things that everyone does that really allows this to all come together for the swimmers. 

More than our 1st place team trophy, more than all the individual and relay medals our swimmers earned, I hope they all had a fun day too! We got pretty lucky as well, since it rained pretty hard in the early morning, then cleared for the rest of the meet. :)

Funny thing about swim families, we've all been to swim meets where it is obvious a nice pool was built with no thought to adequate bathrooms to host a few hundred swimmers and their families. So, today the most common compliment I consistently heard was about the trailer port-a-potty!! :) Too funny!

Swim-a-Thon is this Monday, group assignments and start times are attached too. Group assignments are different than practice groups, so please review.

• Green Group - Starts 8:30 am
• Gold Group - Starts 10:15 am
• Blue Group - Starts 11:20 am
• No Developmental Group today

Sign-Ups for the George Stultz Memorial (last chance) Meet are open:

• Date: Saturday, July 20
• Location: Belvidere Pool
• Initial Entry Deadline: Wednesday, 7/17, 11:59 pm.
• I can make changes up to Thursday, 11:59 pm, so you can see how you do at the dual meet against Nazareth that night before making a final decision.  
• If your swimmer qualified, you will be able to see which events they are eligible for when you log in to sign up by clicking on the green "Meet Entry" button.
• Pool Gates Open: 7:30am 
• Warm Ups Begin: 8:00 am 
• First Event: 9:00 am (typically, we are done by about 10:30am). 
• Spectators: FREE
• The pool will not be open for recreational swimming during the event. 
• Entry Fees: $5 per event, NO surcharge.

LAST PRACTICE for everyone except PJSL Championship attendees is this Friday, 7/19. Swimmers who qualify (look under "Inspiration" drop down menu for qualifying times (QTs)) and who sign-up to attend are the only ones allowed to train the last week of the season, 7/22 - 7/26.
