GPS Invitational— call for help with parking
Dear GPS Parents,
I hope this message finds you well and enjoying the start of summer and the swim season.
As you may know, the 48th annual GPS Invitational is approaching on July 13th at Walters Park. This event, which our team has proudly hosted for 47 years, promises to be a day filled with fun and exciting swimming competitions.
To ensure this tradition continues smoothly, we rely heavily on the support of parent volunteers like you. Your time and energy have been instrumental in making this event a success year after year.
This year, we have a pressing need for help organizing the parking on the day of the event. With an expected attendance of over 200 cars at our new venue, Walters Park, efficient and safe parking management is crucial. If you are available and willing to take on this important role, please reach out to me via email or text.
Additionally, keep an eye out for upcoming requests for parent volunteers for various other roles during the Invitational. Your involvement is greatly appreciated and vital to the event's success.
Thank you all for your continued support and dedication to our GPS swim team. Together, we can make the 48th GPS Invitational another memorable and successful event for our swimmers and families.
Warm regards,
-Richard
