Drake Aquatics Lifeguard Course - Drake Aquatics Link

Current Course Dates: 5/11, 5/12, 5/18, 2024 

• Course Time: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm (all sessions)
• Cost: $350 per student ($50 deposit required to hold your spot, non-refundable after May 5th)
• Prerequisites
  • Age 15 by last day of course.
  • Swim 300 yards continuously with rhythmic breathing.
  • Tread water for 2 minutes using only the legs.
  • Swimming 20 yards, surface dive to a depth of 7 to 10 feet, retrieve a 10-pound object, return to the surface, swim 20 yards on the back, return to the starting point, exit the water without using steps or a ladder, complete in 1 minute, 40 seconds (1:40).
