Tuesday, 6/27: GPS morning practice will be held indoors at PES.

The swim meet against Belvidere later that day is still scheduled. We make the call to potentially cancel a meet ONLY while on deck or at the last moment possible. As a result, unless you get an email from me, or a Swimtopia notification, or see it posted on the team website, the default is that we swim. So, please show up in the absence of communication.

FAQ - Why wait so late?

• Very often we are able to get enough of the meet finished for it to count in the league standings.
• Rescheduling a swim meet is always harder to figure out than just waiting out a storm. Between both teams it requires a couple of hundred swimmers' and their families to redo their schedules, redeclare their attendance, both teams to agree on a new date in a packed season, redo the line-ups from scratch, redo new volunteers for a new date (it's not the same combo of people that can attend), and reserve unscheduled pool space last minute.
