Hello All,

Our GPS team awards picnic is STILL ON for tonight, Monday, 7/25. There's no real good options for an alternate date, so here's the plan in case it rains:

Current Weather Forecast

• 1:00 pm - 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms
• 2:00 pm - 50% chance of scattered thunderstorms
• 5:00 pm - 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms
• After 5:00 pm hour, it's just mostly cloudy.

If no rain/thunderstorms, we are under the pavilion outside the pool area, spreading out, to inside the entire pool area, including pool use.

IF heavy rain/thunderstorm:

• We will be inside the building, setting up food tables inside the large center foyer.
• We will open all doors to get good air flow.
• Families will need to bring their pop-up tents so we can build an extension of connected tents from the building doors outwards onto the sidewalks. It will probably be easier to arrange our "tent town" in the rear of the building, but having 1-2 tents in the front will be good too. 
• Awards presentation - move food tables to the side wall, make presentations in the foyer. 

Fun Relays: We have sign-ups in the first 20 minutes or so, then we hold the relay races near the beginning of the picnic. Following that, we eat, then present awards last.

Regardless if inside or outside, families will need to bring their own chairs to either sit around the pavilion or under the tents.

By the way, if any of our certified lifeguards would like to get paid to rotate lifeguard shifts for $12/hour, please let me know when you arrive.
