Thursday, July 7th - HOME Meet @ PES vs Easton - Easton may be fewer in numbers, but they have a lot of up-top talent, including five YMCA National level qualifiers (we only have two) and a large cadre of District & State qualifiers (more than we have) across several age groups, and are not to be taken lightly. Obviously, they are stronger this year compared to other years. Whereas, we have much more depth in totality, and that is our path to victory. However, it only works if we have our strength in numbers there. As a result, this is not the time to skip a meet to go to the movies with a friend or because it's a slight inconvenience. Please only miss it for another significant obligation you cannot work around. If you need a ride, the Friend Finder is now available on our team website. So, please sign up as soon as you can. :)

Saturday, July 9th - GPS Invitational @ Belvidere (NEXT WEEK): We have hosted this meet for 46 years, and even with the loss of our home pool it is a tradition we are maintaining. It's a lot of fun with all different types of relays too. Swimmers get to choose their own events, so please sign-up through our scheduler. Currently, we only have 33 swimmers signed-up, which for a team of 125 is seriously lacking. So, let's get focused, next Thursday & Saturday are big days for us!!! :)

Friday, July 15th, Swim-a-Thon Fundraiser: Look for details in my next email to be sent in about 20 minutes. However, if your swimmers are visiting family this weekend, it's a great opportunity to hit up all the aunts, uncles, grandparents, family friends, etc. :). This is how we can continue to purchase team equipment, such as fins, paddles, boards, lane lines, blocks, etc., over the long term.
